Whimsical and Romantic Wedding in Deptford, NJ

Vicki and Kyle's wedding was SO beautiful! I was so in love with their gorgeous, whimsical colors and vibe of their wedding day at Auletto Caterers. I went to high school with Kyle, and middle school with Vicki so it was super special getting to capture their day.

their love story

Vicki's best friend invited her to a bonfire at Kyle's house, which is where they hit it off! Their first date was in AC for a PBR rodeo. It was so sweet at their wedding they had a "matchmaker" sign for Vicki's friend to hold in a few photos!

Kyle planned a weekend trip to Point Pleasant, NJ for their 6 year anniversary and had dinner reservations at Charlie’s of Bay Head - a very fancy restaurant. Vicki knew it was going to be an expensive meal when they asked what kind of WATER they wanted! After dinner there was a perfect sunset on the bay and he walked her over to a bridge that led to a cute little bakery. Little did she know there was a hidden photographer on the other side, ready to capture their PROPOSAL!

their wedding day

Vicki and Kyle's ceremony and reception were held at Auletto Caterers. The summer before Kyle proposed Vicki's neighbor participated in Gloucester County Dancing with the Stars which was held there and she instantly pictured their wedding there - they had it booked within a week of being engaged! She was going for a woodsy rustic vibe with hints of Disney (how stinking' cute!) Their color scheme was dusty rose, gold and navy.

Instead of traditional processional songs, Vicki picked her favorite Disney movie theme songs and had instrumental versions playing. They also had more groomsmen than bridesmaids, so 2 of the guys got the title of "Flower dudes" and nailed it. Their officiant was actually Kyle's Elementary School Principal which was very special for him!

Kyle is a very "outdoorsy man" so Vicki incorporated as much of his personality as she could. There were a few deer antler decals on signs, wood slices that he cut the day prior, and his Boutonnieres were in shot gun shells.

Cocktail hour was in a wine cellar, which was a major selling point to Vicki - how many people can say they ate in a real wine cellar? They had their favorite drinks (Malibu bay breeze and Jameson/ginger ale) named as their dog Scout’s nicknames.

Flowers were done by Rosebud Floral Art in Pitman and they were amazing. Vicki gave them 2 inspo pictures of darker/moody color flowers and lots of greenery and they brought her vision to life! Kyle and Vicki built their Seating Chart during the beginning of quarantine and added “Be Our Guest” as another touch of Disney. Most of the decor was made by them!

Vicki's favorite moment - "right after ceremony when we took off to the bridal suite and take in the moment of and we did just that!"
